Things to see

  • Ripken Stadium, home to the Aberdeen IronBirds is right in Aberdeen, you can see it from I-95.
  • Havre De Grace – Right up Route 1-95, was one vote away from being named the capital of the United States. It’s a quaint old town with a city harbor at the center.
  • If you need a Mall, Harford Mall is your closest bet, but there’s not a lot to see there.

Notable Eats

  • Richard’s Fish & Crabs – Right off the campus of Harford Community College is the best place to get some hot Maryland steamed crabs in Harford County.
  • Pappas Restaurant & Sports Bar – A local Baltimore chain that’s grown because of the popularity of their great food, especially their crab cakes. Great food, and a Baltimore atmosphere for sure.
  • Prost German Restaurant (Aberdeen) – Traditional German foods and beer. If you want some schnitzel and a hefeweizen, this is the place to go.
  • La Tolteca – (Aberdeen & around town) There are multiple La Toltecas around the area ad they are all the same family run business with the same great Mexican food. Everything is good there. Vegetarian friendly.
  • Mamie’s Café with Love (Aberdeen) Great homestyle cooking. Vegetarian friendly.
  • Chap’s Pit Beef  (Aberdeen) – If you like grilled meats in a sandwich, this is your place. Featured by Guy Fieri on Diners, Drive ins and Dives.
